Ginetta GT5 Challenge
Dr Basha Kubicka is the only female driver to enter the Ginetta GT5 Challenge in 2013.
Successful aesthetic medicine physician and former karter and rally co-driver, Dr Barbara Kubicka is set to fulfil her lifetime ambition of becoming a racing driver, after entering the 2013 Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT5 Challenge.
“I have always been passionate about motorsport.
I have tried my strength as a rally co-driver, but following a serious accident and work commitments I wasn’t able to pursue my dream for many years.
Fortunately, living in the UK, the motherland of motorsport, I was constantly exposed to amateur racing, karting championships and finally the Ginetta GT5 Challenge.”
In the hope of setting a positive example to patients at her exclusive clinic in Belgravia, Knightsbridge, Dr Kubicka is ready to embrace her personal passion for motorsport following her entry into the British GT / F3-supporting series.
With her first race set for 30th March at Oulton Park Circuit in Cheshire, Dr Kubicka is already training hard for the event series.
Dr Basha Kubicka goes on to say;
“During my personal journey I have been strengthened and encouraged by the positive responses and support of my friends and family. I understand that it is crucial to stay inspired and motivated by the people who live their dreams.
Therefore I always try to empower those around me, whether it is through work or my charity activities. I can only hope that my personal experience will one day inspire somebody to take a first step in faith to pursue their own ambitions.”
As the Ginetta website comments:
“With her positive approach to life combined with a clear determination to succeed, there’s little doubt that Dr Barbara Kubicka will be one to watch in 2013.”
Matt Nicoll-Jones, Team Boss said:
“We are really looking forward to getting Barbara on track this season, she has a great attitude towards the season and we feel she will fit in perfectly within our squad for the 2013 Challenge alongside Will Burns and Matt Flowers. We are looking forward to a successful season with Ginetta and our squad”
