Home Remedies for Warts and Verrucae
A visit to the pharmacist will usually provide a few options for home treatment. Popular options include:
- acid solution (salacylic acid), which must be applied daily, with the wart or verruca being filed down first
- freezing treatment (spray)
Unfortunately, the home treatments can take a long time to work and are not always successful even with the most diligent application.
